Energy and process efficiency
Export materials show that the SPLOT plant uses a photovoltaic installation and works to save energy and reduce waste. However, the most valuable data related to a specific order is material, the share of secondary raw material, mass, durability and packaging.
Energy from its own installation may reduce network demand under certain conditions, but it is not necessary to assign a single textile webbing carbon footprint without conversion data.
Recycled yarns
The export documentation describes products of white polyester yarns derived from usable PET bottles. The scope includes certain woven, knitted and plaited products, with or without latex threads, made from raw materials having STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX.
If recycled material is a project requirement, specify its share, scope of product, way of confirming and principles of communication. Avoid generalising that the entire collection or each component is recycled if the document concerns only part.
Durability is also an environmental decision
The component, which retains its function throughout the life of the product, reduces the risk of repair, replacement or withdrawal of the series. Therefore, when designing it is worth balancing the minimalization of the material with resistance to real use.
A well-prepared test avoids waste resulting from wrong colour, dimension or method of installation. In constant cooperation, repetitive specifications reduce the number of unnecessary corrections.

Frequently asked questions
Does recycled polyester mean 100% recycled product?
This should not be assumed. It is necessary to check the proportion and scope of declarations for a particular product, including flexible threads, printing and accessories.
Does photovoltaics mean production without emissions?
No. Installation may cover part of the energy demand, but a complete declaration requires consumption data, energy mix and calculation limits.
How to reduce waste already in the project?
It is worth choosing the design report, length of sections, delivery format and packaging for the recipient process and approve the test before the series.
